Back to my regularly scheduled promotion of fabulously talented people.....this week we have the amazing bead/glass artists of the Talmadge Art Show http://www.talmadgeartshow.com/

So many talented bead, glass and mixed media artists in such an inviting space. If you are free this Saturday, August 16 from 10am to 4pm, check it out!

This year they are holding the show at the new built Encinitas Public Library http://encinitaslibrary.pbwiki.com/ which is reason enough to go...it is a nicely designed space with a killer ocean view! The common room is particulary cool...lots of stone and glass. I have designed websites for a couple of the artists featured in the show.

Here is some lampwork bead jewelry made by my good friend Anthea Beletsis. You can see more of her work at http://www.antheabeads.com/. She has a big bowl of beads at her home that are so fun to play with and look at....such yummy eye and hand candy. It makes me want to greedily take them all home to play with.
